4887 Takihiroi (1981 EV26) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 2, 1981 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring Observatory in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.
This asteroid was named after Dr. Takahiro Hiroi, a Japanese planetary scientist, specializing in asteroid-meteorite spectroscopy.
